Believe On His Name by Brother Duke Hansen

Good morning. For our scripture reading this morning, we are going to be in the book of John. John was genuinely taken by the revelation of Jesus. It begins the very first chapter which has some parallels with the beginning of Genesis. The opening verse contains one of the most profound truths in scripture. So, we will be reading John chapter1 starting with verse 1.          In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.          2 The same was in the beginning with God.          John writes this correctly for he saw the truth revealed to him in his life.          3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.          4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.          5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness co...

Let Your Things Be Done In Love by Brother Curtis Hansen

Continuing from last week; I spoke about spiritual awakening and growing your awareness. Three points of last Sunday's message was identity, awareness, and conviction. Men are given 3 things in life 1) work to enjoy 2) a will to obey and 3) a woman to love.          We are going back to the scripture from last Sunday, 1 Corinthians 16. but we will focus on verse 14.          14 Let all your things be done with chairty.          Real manhood is expressed through strength under self-control. Not in strength with say large muscles and might but strength by not following through with what your flesh defaults to when physical strength is required. You have to submit to God. You will need strength and you need to learn how to control.          1) Step into the responsibility. Boyhood avoids all responsibility. Adul...

Are You Really Awake? By Brother Curtis Hansen

This morning, we will be reading from 1 Corinthians 16 and verses 13 and 14. I wanted to start this off by saying first this is primarily for the men. There are separate messages about women as well as the family, but this one is about men, their duties and roles. We are going to really focus on the words the apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth for the next two weeks.          What is a man? There are characteristics and abilities as well as general stereotypes many use to answer that question. You get your peace when you allow Jesus in your life through all of life's seasons.          13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.          14 Let all your things be done with charity.          There are 3 primary points that I wanted to touch on this morning. There is 1) Identity 2) Awareness and 3) Conviction.  ...

A Message of Hope by Brother Duke Hansen

Good morning. This message is for Easter 2026. It will not be the retelling of the story of Jesus' resurrection. Instead, we are going to turn to the book of Romans chapter 8 and begin reading with verse 3.          3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh;          In Judaism before the time of Jesus' ministry, the people would sacrifice different animals as offerings in the temple. If there was one made for sin, it was designed to roll the sin back a year. These sins were never forgiven. Israel in 2026 does not follow this law or practice. If you are seeking the truth and God, those will be the only things remain in the end of times. Jesus had condemned sin in the flesh which you and I cannot do. He was the Son of God and Son of Man. There is no righteousness unless you...

What Are You Laying Down? by Brother Curtis Hansen

The message for this morning is going to be about Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem for Passover. The story and observation of Palm Sunday is very important and the start of the holy week. We are going to be reading from Matthew chapter 21 and we will read the first 11 verses.          And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Beth-pha-ge, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples.          2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an donkey tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.          3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.          4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by the prophet, saying,          5 Tell ye the d...
