Be Present Minded by Brother Curtis Hansen

When we think how God operates, it's about the law, the establishing of the law by God as a guide for man. Over time, Man has managed to mangle and twist established law to suit his overall needs. The main point is about how we need to follow the law established in the scripture and not someone's interpretation of him. What we are going to touch upon this morning is dispensationalism.          God created the light before he created day and morning. He told Abram that he would be the father of a nation despite Abram being childless for decades. God will send the word before you see the evidence of it.          We are going to be reading first from the book of Genesis chapter 2 verse 25.       25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.          God has made us in his image. We aren't supposed to give in to shame or carry i...

Let Patience Have Her Perfect Will by Brother Duke Hansen

The book of James is only 5 chapters long, yet is full to bursting of guidance and information that rivals a book 3 times as big. James was a brother of Jesus and headed the church in Jerusalem. There are many points made in this book which is hard for man's flesh to reconcile with or even comprehend. The text calls man's flesh into subjection many times.           There's a question we still ask as Peter asked Jesus in Matthew 18, "How many times shall I forgive my brother?" This question is returned to and examined in this book being read and studied. It's a question we should keep in our mind going through our day. The bottom line is to follow God's command, love your neighbor as yourself. You may find this in Mark 12: 28-34, Luke 10: 25-37, and Matthew 22: 36-40.          We are going to be reading in the book of James this morning in chapter 1 and verse 1.         ...

Lift Your Hands by Brother Duke Hansen

The desire to be seen, heard, and recognized is at the heart of our flesh. The simplest things are about worship and praise. The power is in the hands of the obedient. There are desires of your flesh and the desire to serve God. Our scripture reading is going to be in a couple of places this morning. We are going to start in the book of 1 Timothy chapter 2 and begin reading at verse 1.         I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.          First things first; pray for everyone. Pray for everyone and not just a select few. Don't be one who prays for someone in their home and then run them down in public behind their back.         2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.          3 For this...

Prayer In the Depths Of the Den by Brother Curtis Hansen

Good morning. Chapter 6 of the book of Daniel is known by both believers and non believers alike. This chapter is Daniel in the lions den. We will be diving into those scriptures this morning.           God created the five fold ministry to not only instruct but also aid in your walk. If you are panicked regarding the times you are currently living in, consuming the gloom of the present, who are you going to turn to? Do you seek experts in the world? Do you ignore the five fold ministry? It's important to keep this in mind as we go through these days. Do not shun the 5 fold ministry and rather seek someone or something that appeases your flesh.          Now, Daniel was estimated to be around 83 years old at the time of chapter 6. Daniel was made captive along with other Israelites decades before by Babylon. Daniel served as an advisor to the kings of Babylon and later Darius of Persia. The wron...

What Is Your Goal? by Brother Curtis Hansen

The gospels that were written in the Bible had moments of Jesus' life. There are moments which overlap one another in different accounts. The scripture we will read this morning is found in other books if you read and study this week. The purpose for writing was different aside from telling the reader the ministry and story of Jesus.           This morning we will be going to the book of Mark chapter 10. We will begin reading at verse 17. The book of Mark was written by John Mark and is considered the earliest gospel by scholars. Where the book of Matthew was written with the distinction to a Jewish audience, Mark was written more for the non Jewish or gentile audience.         17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?          18 And Jesus said unt...
