Trespass and Maturity by Brother Curtis Hansen

The message this morning is going to be a  continuation from the one given back on the first Sunday this October. In that message it was about the church body being the community of believers. This morning we are going to talk a little about operations within the church when it comes to dealing with trespass in the body.           People still mistakenly think that when they enter church or join a  congregation that they won't be offended or slighted. A lot of reactions to life are rooted wither in fear or anxiety. Maturity is present when you see someone act out in fear or anxiety and recognize what it is. Maturity is having the strength to not let the small stuff get to you. We will be reading from Matthew chapter 18 verses 15 to 20.         15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone; if he shall ...

Faith > Advantage by Brother Duke Hansen

This morning's message is about the power of faith. The question I would like to begin with for you to ponder is have you in your walk asked God to increase your faith? There are plenty of people who profess that in public or on their social media platforms, but are they truly doing so? Are they merely just demonstrating for show? It is so important to exercise your faith in these days. We are in the end times and the closer we get to the midnight hour, the more present danger and evil lie out in the open.           There are steps on the road to redemption. You have repentance, remission of sin, receiving the holy ghost. Humility is one of the last steps to take towards redemption. When we look at faith, we just want God to give us faith quickly and with no questions. This morning we will be reading from the book of Luke chapter 17. We will begin reading with verse 5.         5...

Discipline and Strength by Brother Duke Hansen

Our scripture reading will be in the book of Hebrews chapter 12. In chapter 11, the author of the book lists and describes the faith of the patriarchs of Israel as well as other figures in the Hebrews history. The chapter serves as a memorial and history of the Hebrew people. Now, we can read and study that chapter and feel often an air of  superiority. Our mind likes to deceive us where we place our walk and our relationship with Jesus in the same company. The flesh has enmity with God, yet it enjoys elevating our mindset as always right in dealings, always just in how we handle ourselves, and great overall. The term superhero is overused and misdirected with fellow believers more than in the world. We are not superheroes. You should actively avoid saying such foolishness.          You are instructed to be a steward of what you have with God has provided. The physical things such as property,...

Community, Gifts, and Fruits by Brother Curtis Hansen

This morning's primary scripture reading will be from the book of Matthew chapter 18. We will start reading with verse one and go to verse 11.         At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?          2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,          3 And he said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.          4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.          5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives me.          6 But  whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him t...
