The Process To Praise by Brother Duke Hansen

This morning, we are going to be reading from two different scriptures. They have a connection to one another when you read and think on it. Every psalm David wrote came from a life experience. It could be a praise, a lament, a plea. These psalms came from triumphs, tragedies, victories, and failure. We are going to read Psalm 51 and begin with verse 1. In a few verses, you are probably recognize the words because this psalm is pretty familiar.         Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: accroding unto thy multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.          2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.          3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.          4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be just...

Be Wary by Brother Curtis Hansen

Good morning. This morning's message is going to be a bit of continuation of the message last week. We are going to be in Revelation chapter 2 and will be reading from verses 18 to 20.         18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass.          19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.          20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.          So, before we dig into the scripture, a little backstory. Revelation chapter 2 was an account of the present st...

Are You a Nicolaitan? by Brother Duke Hansen

Good morning. This morning we will be reading from a few different places. We are going to begin in the book of Acts. We are going to be in chapter 6 and read the first 5 verses. In this chapter, the new church has been established and has began to grow.         And in those days, when the number of disciples was multiplied, there arose among a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the ministration.          2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.          3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.          4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. ...

Which Is Your Master? by Brother Curtis Hansen

This morning, we will be reading from the book of Romans chapter 5. We will be reading starting in verse 9 and read to verse 12.         9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.         10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.         11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.         12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.          There's no surprise when sinners sin. When people do bad things, it shouldn't be shocking. Sin entered in the beginning in the Garden of Eden with Adam. Man can get a little con...
