Oppositions. Hinderances, and Obstacles by Brother Duke Hansen

Good morning. This morning the message is going to be informative and I hope also empowering. We are going to talk about oppositions, hinderances, and obstacles. It's human nature to take the path of least  resistance. There are those who try and live a Christian life and walk on the easy path. Oppositions, hinderances, and obstacles should stir your spirit awake but instead it frustrates our flesh and we many times seek out solutions to appease and comfort that flesh. Turn to the book of Galatians chapter 5. We will read verse 7.         7 Ye did run well, who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?         The barriers are designed to get you to doubt, question, and out right fear biblical principles. Due to overthinking, many of us get all thoughts twisted up inside over these basic of principles. How can you dig deeper in the spirit if not to face  opposi...

Principles and Leadership by Brother Curtis Hansen

Good morning. If you will, please turn to the book of Romans. We will be reading from chapter 12 starting at the first verse. This morning the message is going to touch on different types of leadership in the job setting and even in life. We will also talk about how if you are grounded in the word of God and following the principles laid out in the scripture, you will be a highly effective leader.         I  beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present  your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.          2 And be not  conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.         Let's look at the phrase bodies a living sacrifice. You present your flesh, though it be car...

Hard Truths by Brother Duke Hansen

Good morning. Today we are going to read from the book of Romans chapter 12. We will begin in the first verse. Through out Paul's writing in the  New Testament, there was one constant Paul was always speaking about to the church. It was the pursuit of holiness.          I beseech you therefore,  brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.         Paul only knew of God's mercy towards him and to no one else. If there is any struggle on the part of someone regarding mercy, a lot of other parts of the faith will make a person feel lost. There are many self professed believers of the faith who don't know what mercy is. Some view mercy as a flaw or weakness. Some don't even know how to give themselves mercy.          There are many people who are c...
